Types of Giving

In scripture we find various broad categories of giving:

Tithing: This is giving for those who would call 3Ci their church home - to resource the work of our local church to fulfil God’s call & mission through us. Faithful tithing (10% of one’s income) is the starting point illustrated in scripture & provides a great foundation for a lifestyle of generosity & giving.

Offerings, Needy, Missions, etc.: This is giving towards specific needs, special projects, new church plants, outreaches, city & overseas mission initiatives, persecuted church, etc.
